How linked media works
Some tools let you search the open web (including YouTube) and pick media yourself — a sound, a music excerpt, a short clip segment. You do the searching, you do the picking, and you publish the finished video. rviv acts only at your direction: it fetches a short excerpt of exactly what you chose (sounds up to 20 seconds, music up to 60 seconds, clip segments up to 12 seconds), never the whole work.
Your responsibility
Just like your own uploads, you confirm you have the right to use anything you link. Before your first linked pick, we show you this in the app and record your agreement. If you're unsure you have the rights, don't link it — use the built-in library or generated media instead.
What rviv never does
Linked media is never added to any shared library, never suggested to other users, never resold and never used to train anything. Short-lived working copies exist only to render your video and are purged automatically.
Rights holders — request a removal
If you believe a video made with rviv uses your work without permission, email support@rviv.in with (1) a link to or copy of the video, (2) the work you own and proof you own it, and (3) your contact details. We act within 72 hours: we purge our cached excerpt, disable the link for future use, and pass your notice to the user who published the video.
Repeat infringement
Accounts that repeatedly ignore takedown notices are suspended. That's a condition of using the service.
Counter-notice
If your media was removed and you believe you hold the rights, reply to the takedown email with your evidence and we'll review it within 7 days.
